Compact geometries – economical bending and cutting
If short compact tube geometries must be cutted after bending, the loss of material by conventional methods is extremely high. An incentive for us to think economically and technically one step further: with the newly developed combined transfluid® bending and cutting processes. It provides an effective and time saving solution for the practice. The special machine design example is interesting for the efficient fabrication of exhaust pipes.
All axes and movements of the bending machine are electrically powered. Three levels are available for bending - on a fourth level, the tube will be separated cleanly and almost without damages with knives. Tubes up to 140 x 2mm can be bent and separated in this way, and without further after-cutting. A loading of pre-cutted parts is no longer necessary. The shortened periods ensure a very economic process and per geometric material will economize up to two times the tube diameter average.
